My Thoughts and Review:
I really (almost) wish I hadn't started this book.

Why you ask?

Because, it is going to be an awful long wait until the next one is out and that, well, that just makes me sad. I didn't want this one to end.

I wasn't ready for it to be over. I want more. More Levi, more Allie, Hailey, Owen, Jared. more of the story.

What happens next? Do they make it? Where does their story go from here?

So yeah, needless to say, I fell in love with the characters, the writing, the story, the whole thing.

I loved the whole idea, the concept, the uniqueness that made up the whole world that Ivy created. It was full of win amd darn it, I want the second book to be out, like now.

I am not even going to go into the details of this story because I don't want to ruin anything and it is hard to know what I can and can't say that will give something away.

I will give you a little hint though, if you like hot leading men with a little bit of an alpha complex, a heroine that is just your average girl but is feisty and can hold her own. And yeah, a world full of the paranormal in the spooky city of New Orleans, then this is the story for you.

The romance in this one was perfect, not over the top or insta love at all, in fact, the ending will surprise you even.

No body is perfect in this one, the hot leading man Levi? He made mistakes, big mistakes in fact but I still loved him and was still rooting for him, which honestly surprised me.

And Allie, well, she isn't perfect either. She is stubborn and head strong and isn't always smart either and that just made me like her all the more too.

That doesn't always work in a story, but it did in this one.

Ivy did a beautiful job making it all work. It wasn't perfect and things were left out of the story, everything didn't end happily and all wasn't explained but, hey, that makes me want to read the second one all the more. Because, I want all those questions answered and all the details to be uncovered. And yes, I want more Levi. I can't help it, he did a crappy thing but he did it out of love and because of that, my hopeless romantic side can't hate him.

So well done Ivy, you got me hooked! I will anxiously be awaiting the release of Focus.

I give this one 4 Stars!!
